Butterfly Valves

Corrosion and abrasion resistant thermoplastic discs are at the heart of these butterfly valves.  Select from wafer or lug patterns, cast iron or aluminum bodies in sizes from 2" to 16".  Standard valves provide bubble tight sealing to 150 psi and 225°F.  Optional reduced torque valves provide shutoff to 50 psi, allowing for lower torque and less expensive actuators to be utilized.  Ideal for HVAC applications.

The Plast-A-Vane® disc is manufactured from Noryl®, a reinforced thermoplastic resin, and is virtually unaffected by most acids and bases.  The unique ribbed design creates small vortex trails that dissipate quickly after exiting the valve, yielding lower noise levels than conventional discs.  Heat-treated 17-4ph stainless steel, one-piece thru-shaft design ensures reliability and positive disc positioning.

Applications include chemical media, processing, sewage systems, waste water treatment, HVAC chilled and hot water, tank trucks, irrigation systems, deionized water and methane gas, to name a few.

Series MBV Butterfly Valves - low cost, lever operated, lug or wafer pattern 200 psig, memory stop.  Ideal for commercial, HVAC and industrial applications. Standard features include a Bronze alloy disc and EPDM or Buna-N seats for compatibility with a wide range of media.  The 416SS two-piece stem design provides strength while allowing a thinner disc profile resulting in higher Cv's.  Extended neck provides clearance for up to 2" of insulation.  10 position locking handle sets the valve in 10° increments, while the memory stop lets you set the valve in the same position each time.  Both lug and wafer designs fit ANSI Cl.125/150 flanges.  Sizes 2" to 12".
