Steam Traps

The United steam trap features a stainless steel pin, carrier, ball and seat for longer life.  The clean-out plug is located conveniently above the orifice and all screws are of hardened steel.  A unitized operating mechanism provides for easy maintenance.  Since all working parts are attached to the cover, there is no need to disturb piping connections.  Other desirable features include rugged cast-iron construction and a built-in stainless steel strainer and brass plug.  United traps have the ability to combine large capacities with rapid discharge of condensate, practically at steam temperature. 
Model 850 - 1/2" High Pressure (50 - 125 psi)
Model 849A - 3/4" High Pressure (50 - 125 psi)
Model 849 - 1/2" Low Pressure (0 - 50 psi)
Model 849B - 3/4" Low Pressure (0 - 50 psi)

Cover and operating mechanism makes possible immediate trap repair without disturbing piping connections. Simply by removing the cover bolts.  United's unitized operating mechanism can be replaced in a matter of minutes.
