Ball Valves

United Ball Valves are designed and have been tested for applications from low pressure cold water to 200 lbs. of steam pressure.  They provide a tight seal through this full range of conditions.  They are ideally suited where quick shut off (1/4 turn) is necessary.  Ball valves are suitable for service as indicator valves.  The "on-off" status can be determined by handle position.  All ball valves feature a milled stem and external nut to connect lever to stem for strength and alignment.

200 lbs. WSP @ 406°F Max., 400 lbs. WOG. 100% pressure tested
Screwed ends, plated lever with vinyl hand grip. Blow out proof stem.
Non-asbestos packing. 
1/4" - 1/2" = Full flow;  3/4" - 2" = Large port diameters.
Body material: Bronze conforming to ASTM B62, Bronze ball.

Copper to Copper.  Heavy duty ball valve with solder ends (sweat), commonly used in plumbing, heating and air conditioning applications. 200 lbs. WSP @ 406°F Max., 400 lbs. WOG. 100% pressure tested. Screwed ends, plated lever with vinyl hand grip. Blow out proof stem. Non-asbestos packing.  Teflon seals.
1/4" - 1/2" = Full flow;  3/4" - 2" = Large port diameters.
Body material: Bronze conforming to ASTM B62, Bronze ball.

Same specs as 80S series, but with different ends.
Care should be taken during installation not to overheat valve as this could damage Teflon seats or O-ring.  Valve should be soldered with ball in open position to allow heat to dissipate.
